The FerroForum team cordially invites you to the next edition of our workers’ fair, on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 12 noon in the central workshop of the Metzeschmelz in Esch-Schifflange.

As a tribute to the fair of the beginning of the 20th century, there will be traditional games to discover, which the FerroForum team has adapted in their own way. With the usual artisanal games, great music and also one or two things to eat, this day is an experience for young and old. We are especially pleased to have Georges Christen with us again for this edition. You can also take advantage of a shuttle bus that will take you from the Aloyse Meyer car park to our site.

However, other performers and artists are also taking part. Our national “Hercule Forain”, Georges Christen, will be hosting his “Power Show” with his resonant voice and boundless energy. There will be plenty of music: the Biergarbechter-Musék from Esch will be there again, as will Les Amis de l’Accordéon.

This year, there will also be a Big Ferrugineous Tombola, where you can win exciting original pieces found on the Metzeschmelz site.
Of course, food and drink will also be available at our fair – look out for homemade specialities from our team, such as the traditional fair cake and ham, and our iron cakes.

As always, it is possible to access the site on foot or by bicycle from the Schëffleng Gate.
There will also be a shuttle service running between the Lalleng Gate car park and the Atelier Central.
