For the fifth time, we held our workers’ fair in our Atelier Central.
As a tribute to the fair of the early 20th century, there were traditional games to discover, which the FerroForum team adapted in their own way. The slightly different carousel, the wire street, the bowling alley, Hau den Lukas… not only the little ones had a great time.
This year, we were particularly happy to have our national “Hercule Forain”, Georges Christen, with us. With his booming voice and his irrepressible energy, he animated an impressive “power show”. He was accompanied musically by none other than Luciano Pagliarini.
Speaking of music: The opening act was performed by the Biergaarbechter-Musék with the Hämmelsmarsch, followed by a concert. Later in the day, we also received the Schëfflenger Musek – this was not originally planned, but it was a welcoming surprise for our public! The musical finale was then performed by the Amis de l’Accordéon.
There were also activities and demonstrations by our team – in the workshop and especially in the forge, you got a glimpse of working with iron. Our menu was also well received: pea soup, fair cake with ham, sausages, and also tarts and waffles were sold out fast.
