We invite you to the 4th edition of its traditional Kermesse Ouvrière, on Saturday 24 May from 13:00 at the Atelier central of the Metzeschmelz in Esch-Schifflange.
In the tradition of the fairs of the early 20th century, you can discover traditional games revisited in a FerroForum style.
Other fairground entertainers will also be on hand, including the Ney family’s shooting gallery and the renowned local clown Joe Del Toe. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Biergarbechter-Musék from Esch-sur-Alzette, the Amis de l’Accordéon and Belgian accordionist Denys Gigot.
Not to be missed: demonstrations of the ‘Kamelleschmelz ©’, a simplified and fun miniature steelworks created by artist Trixi Weis, which makes sweets instead of steel.
As with all fairs, there will also be plenty to eat, including DKollektiv’s exceptional kebab drill, as well as our team’s other in-house specialities.
As usual, access will be on foot or by bike from the Portail Schifflange and Portail Esch-Neudorf between 13:00 and 22:00. There will also be a shuttle bus running continuously between the car park at Portail Lallange park and the Atelier central between 13:00 and 22:00.
