WORKERS’ FAIR 2024

To open the season, FerroForum invites you to the 3rd edition of its traditional Workers’ Fair!

On Saturday 4 May from 12:00 to 22:00, the team has put together a varied programme in the tradition of the fairs of the early 20th century, offering a lively and joyful day out for all the family:

– Traditional games revisited in the FerroForum style, sure to make your childrens’ hearts beat faster

– SPILL MOL association joins us with a range of highly entertaining wooden tabletop games

– Shooting game by the NEY family, where young and old alike can take a fair look and win traditional fairground souvenirs

– At the FerroMaton, you can try on original factory costumes and capture the moment on film

– Tammy Fonck, our team member, will be giving us a demonstration of the “Kamelleschmelz ©“, a simplified and fun miniature steelworks created by the artist Trixi Weis, which produces sweets instead of steel.

– Joe del Toe, the working clown, will take an amusing stroll down the Central Workshop

– Ferruginous Tombola: buy your prizes and win surprising originals, collected on the Metzeschmelz site itself!

There will also be plenty of music, with De Spillmann on his barrel organ, a concert by the Biergarbechter-Musék from Esch-sur-Alzette, and to round off the evening, a concert by the “Bergkapelle St. Ingbert” .

Of course, there will be a lot to satisfy your appetite and quench your thirst in our bar:
there will be a barbeques and fries, Marc Wagner will be joining us with his kebaps, and Nello Tescari will be preparing his famous waffles cooked on a wood-burning cooker… a sheer delight! The NEY family will of course bring their sweets stand.

As usual, access will be on foot or by bike from the Schifflange and Esch-Neudorf portals (green route on the map opposite). A shuttle bus (red route) will also run continuously to and from the Lallange gate car park and the Atelier Central between 12:00 and 22:00.
